Project Story

This luxury residential transformation reimagined a single-story mid-century property into a contemporary Spanish Colonial Revival estate. Collaborating with an elite premier developer, our objective for this Beverly Hills custom home was to authentically reinterpret classic Montecito style for the modern luxury market, seamlessly navigating the city’s notoriously strict planning mandates and rigorous design review process.

The exterior features a grand, high-ceiling entrance and a flat-front stucco façade punctuated by pierced window openings and a stacked clay tile roof. Meticulously crafted authentic eaves with corbels at 24-inch intervals directly honor the craftsmanship recognized in the historic architectural style.

Inside, we departed from the standard open-concept layout to engineer an intentional, traditional floor plan. A formal foyer and grand staircase yield to carved architectural openings connecting distinct spaces, including a formal dining room. The primary suite features bespoke steel doors and simple iron guardrails, delivering a refined, modern take on historic elegance while showcasing our firm's technical precision in highly regulated municipalities.
