The Music Barn

This unbuilt concept pairs a rugged, historic frontier exterior with a highly curated retro interior to create a secluded hospitality venue. The exterior architecture features weathered vertical timber cladding, interlocking gabled rooflines, and arched windows to give the structure the permanent, weathered look of an old-world western lodge.

Inside, the double-height timber hall shifts into an immersive, mid-century entertainment space. The layout features a dedicated live music stage, a retro arcade lounge, and a bar area framed by exposed structural trusses. By pairing a rustic, traditional envelope with a vibrant, 1950s Americana aesthetic, the design provides an unexpected, high-energy event space hidden completely within a private woodland setting.
